What is a mouthguard?

A mouthguard is a rubber-like cover that has been specifically designed to cover your teeth and gums, cushioning and protecting them from damage.

Why do I need one?

If you play a sport that involves physical contact or moving objects such as cricket, hockey, rugby, or boxing, you may need a mouthguard to protect you from serious damage to your teeth i.e broken or damaged teeth; broken or dislocated jaws. Mouthguards may also be recommended to people who grind their teeth at night.
